I recommend this post because people do not know what it is to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. So many people call themselves Christians, but they do not ever become a disciple of Jesus Christ. A disciple will live as Jesus lived, obey his doctrine, and commands.
Without obeying the sayings and commands of Jesus Christ found in his Gospel in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John; there is no salvation, and no home in heaven for you, or for anyone else. Jesus must be your Lord, Your Master, and your King. He is all of that to you, or he is nothing to you.
I readily admit that I am not a Christian. That is a false Gentile religion founded by the apostle paul. I reject that completely. Instead I am a disciple of King Jesus Christ, doing my very best to live as Jesus Christ lived, as the Apostles lived, and especially to obey every word spoken by Jesus in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
I am not a Christian. I am a disciple of my King Jesus Christ serving him to the best of my ability. This is my religion.
James 1:26-27 “If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
There is indeed salvation for the true disciples of Jesus Christ, and a home in heaven prepared for them too.
For “Christians” there is no salvation. There is an eternal home prepared for them in a lake of fire and brimstone. They will be covered with maggots, weeping and gnashing their teeth. They will dwell in outer darkness.
Why is this true? Because Christians are rebels who refuse to fully obey all of the commands, and the doctrine of King Jesus Christ. They refuse firmly to allow King Jesus Christ to rule over their life. This requires a death to self rule, and humbly obeying every word of instruction spoken by King Jesus Christ.
Christians are very careful to refuse to die to self, and to pick up their own cross daily to follow Jesus Christ, through complete obedience to all he has taught and commands. You can choose to either make Jesus Christ your Lord by obeying all that he has said, or commit sedition by rejecting Jesus Christ as your Lord by refusing to obey him.
