Time

I have come to realize that the only commodity that I really have is time. Like all people on this planet I have 24 hours in every day. How do i use these precious hours? Do I frivolously throw them away entertaining myself watching movies, viral videos, reading novels, surfing the web, following hobbies, playing games, or in other worldly pursuits?

This is how I have spent far too many hours in the rather long life that I have lived on this planet. I am very religious. I have a deep heart hunger for God that cannot be satisfied in the things of this world. Yet I have discovered through painful experiences that try as I might, I could not for any long length of time abandon these things.

I tried spending all of my time in God’s presence, and that never worked either. It got boring, dry, full of painful flashbacks, temptations, and other negative things. I recognize that much of this had to do with demonic attacks. Even Jesus Christ was attacked by devils, and satan himself would come to tempt him. So it is not a strange thing for this to happen to me.

What I finally came to realize is that although I tried to spend all of my time in God’s presence, I eventually could not stand against these demonic attacks, and I would fall away. I would backslide and abandon that position. Then because it was such a painful experience, I would feel loath to try again. Yet eventually I always did try again, and again, and again.

Now in present tense I discovered something even more amazing. Father God moved in my life back in July, 2024 in a very deep way. He told me that my life would completely change in 2026. True to his word he began to move in me again on December 25th, 2025. On January 1st, 2026 I am now a changed man.

I discovered that I had to be INVITED INTO GOD’S PRESENCE. I now have a new ability to stay in God’s presence in almost all of my waking hours. I am growing still toward perfection in this, but I have never achieved perfection in any area of my life here on earth. I do not believe that any other human has achieved that. Only King Jesus Christ did that over 2,000 years ago.

John 6:35-71 “And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Rejected by His Own

41 The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42 And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

Many Disciples Turn Away

60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”

61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” 71 He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve.”

We see several important things. Jesus Christ made it crystal clear that no one can come to him unless his Father draws them to himself. These disciples had tried to be his disciples and to follow him in their own strength. The time came when they were offended at his sayings and they departed from him.

Then there are the group of twelve Apostles. They were drawn to him by Father God. In another place King Jesus Christ told them, “You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I ordained you, that you shall bear good fruit, and that your fruit shall remain”. When Jesus asked them, “Will you also leave me?”

Peter answered, “Lord to where shall we go? Only you have the words of eternal life.” Thus we see the difference between the disciples who themselves chose to follow King Jesus Christ, and the ones who King Jesus Christ chose, and who he himself called them. The ones who themselves choose to follow Jesus will never be able to remain.

And then there is the devil Judas Iscariot. I was shocked and troubled when I first noticed that Judas Iscariot was an APOSTLE just as the other 11 were. He had the same experiences as they did. He raised the dead, cast out devils, preached the Gospel, healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, just as the other 11 Apostles did.

He faithfully served Jesus Christ for 3.5 years. He heard his teaching almost daily. He observed Jesus Christ carefully just as the other Apostles did. Yet Judas Iscariot was still a devil, and the traitor. He had been called by Jesus Christ to follow him. Yet in the end he hung himself and his bowels spilled out of his belly onto the ground.

Now after so many years for me living a life that felt like I was under the curse of the law, Father God has seen fit to call me unto himself. I now can stay in his presence, and in his service almost 24/7. Now my time is being used wisely.

Sin is drying up and falling away. There is like a sign in the spirit world hanging around my neck that says, “OUT OF SERVICE”. As far as sin is concerned this is what has happened to me. What a difference there is now that God has called me to be always in his presence, as opposed to me myself trying to do that.

Now everything will indeed change in my life. Now I meet the qualifications needed to have all of my prayers answered. All of my circumstances, my health, my physical age, my marital status, where I live, having children, EVERYTHING.

John 15:7-8 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
